We began the Ikarus Project in 2002, the same year we opened up in Playa del Carmen IKARUS SURF SHOP the first Kite shop in México. A year later we started with the first Kite School in the South-East region of Mexico.

After opening schools in Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Tulum, Xpu-Ha and Cancún, we realized the importance of teaching in the perfect spot with the ideal conditions of shallow flat water , suitable with any wind directions , lot of space and the only place with this characteristic and where people really learned to Kite safely and much more efficiently and quickly was at Isla Blanca.  Ever since we are located only here…the absolute place for learning and easy and fast progression.
